Spring shows up with all this pressure to feel better. The sun comes out more, people start talking about “new beginnings,” and everything around you looks like it’s waking up again.
But what if you don’t feel that way?
I remember waiting for that shift, thinking maybe when the weather got nicer, I’d feel lighter too. Instead, I still felt the same stress, the same heaviness at home, the same thoughts that didn’t just disappear because it was April.
If that’s you, nothing is wrong with you.
Life doesn’t reset just because the season changes. What’s happening in your home, in your mind, in your relationships, that stuff doesn’t follow a calendar. Growth is real, but it’s not instant, and it’s definitely not always visible.
You’re allowed to take your time. You’re allowed to still be figuring things out, even when everything around you looks like it’s blooming.
Sometimes your version of spring is just getting through the day. That still counts.
